O Wisdom, Source of Insight

1aO Wisdom, source of insight,
help us to see what you see,
to behold what you hold dear,
to appreciate what you deem precious.

Open wide our eyes.
Open wider still our hearts
that we may look with wonder and delight
at the dark immensity and luminous intricacies of creation,
catch flashes of your presence and traces of your grace.
We receive your blessing for the fullness of life.

Open wide our eyes.
Open wider still our hearts
that we may look with compassion
on those who long to be seen and known,
appreciated and included, loved and held sacred.
We offer your blessing for the fullness of life.

Open wide our eyes.
Open wider still our hearts
that we may stand in awe before what is,
be moved by what we behold, respond to what we see,
and act on what we come to know by love.
We celebrate your blessing for the fullness of life.
