Wringing Out My Clothes

Such love does
the sky now pour
that whenever I stand in a field,

I have to wring out the light
when I get
home.

~ Saint Francis of Assisi

from Love Poems from God: Twelve Sacred Voices from the East and West, translated by Daniel Ladinsky

Food for Thought & Action: Look, notice, behold, appreciate the sky and the light today.

Question: When was the last time you were so drenched with wonder and awe that you had to wring your clothes out?
